Job summary

Bank of Montreal in Chicago is seeking an Associate, Registrations & Governance to support the implementation, maintenance and administration of compliance programs. You will assist with risk assessments, monitoring, testing and reporting to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in compliance or risk.
• Recognized compliance certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of consumer protection and marketing guidelines.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice and guidance on regulatory risk for assigned business units.
• Conducts risk assessments and challenges controls for effectiveness.
• Performs monitoring and testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supports root cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Communicates role of the three lines of defense and regulatory risk.
• Prepares risk reporting and supports regulatory inquiries.
