Amazon is seeking a Manager of Governance Communications to lead how we communicate about governance activities, including public filings, the annual shareholder meeting, and the broader work of Amazon’s Legal organization. You will translate complex regulatory topics into clear narratives suitable for external and internal audiences.

You’ll collaborate across Communications, Legal, Investor Relations, and Finance to shape messaging, manage media inquiries, and oversee communications for

Competenze

• 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Mansioni

• Own the governance communications strategy end to end – build it, run it, and report on how it’s going.
• Shape how Amazon talks about its legal and corporate governance work. You’ll weigh in on strategy for public-facing materials, handle media inquiries, monitor and understand how media is covering Amazon, and write content.
• Lead communications on Amazon’s annual regulatory filings – the proxy, the shareholder letter, etc. You’ll work closely with legal and Investor Relations, owning the comms plan, advising on content, writing content, and managing media inquiries and coverage.
• Help plan and run the annual shareholder meeting. You’ll manage logistics, own media attendance, team up with Executive Communications to prep our leaders, and field media inquiries and coverage.
• Manage external speaking engagements for the Legal team.
• Partner with Financial Communications on financial filings, such as quarterly and annual earnings, especially as they relate to legal filings.
• Stay curious about AI and bring a working knowledge of AI tools to your work.
