Amazon’s Legal Department is seeking a smart litigator to manage its worldwide portfolio of government enforcement, regulation, and related litigation, advising on a broad range of risk issues. You will supervise government disputes, interact with regulators, direct strategy, oversee outside counsel, and guide internal stakeholders through complex policy challenges.

Competenze

Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in at least one state.
5+ years of post–bar admission legal experience in litigation and regulatory matters.
Proven ability to manage complex government-related disputes.

Mansioni

Handle and supervise a wide range of government disputes and regulatory engagements across all Amazon businesses.
Interact directly with government officials, regulators, and law enforcement at local, state, and federal levels.
Direct overall case and matter strategy and manage outside counsel.
Assess risk and coordinate with senior leadership on risk management.
Counsel internal stakeholders on complex legal and policy issues.
Manage all stages of both affirmative and defensive litigation, including discovery.
