Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an experienced project/program manager to lead government contracting and advisory engagements across commercial and federal clients. You will guide project phases, coordinate with clients, and ensure high-quality service and deliverables.

The role requires eight years of consulting experience, strong SDLC and costpoint knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed. A CPA, PMP, or related certification is preferred and will boost opportunities within a global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or related field.
• Eight (8) years of related experience delivering financial and management consulting services.
• Experience consulting with Commercial or a mix of Commercial/Federal clients.
• Experience working on Deltek Costpoint implementations for commercial or federal clients.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own all project phases and work directly with clients to reach project objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise with SDLC for a project/program management office supporting technical PMs.
• Evaluate and implement packaged software solutions with technical and functional skills.
• Develop and execute methodologies for the government contracting industry.
• Identify new business opportunities including methodologies, tools, and market research.
• Deliver exceptional client service in all interactions and projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, including executives.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, assign and coach team members, and support performance development.
