Job summary

AutogenAI, a leader in generative AI SaaS, seeks a Technical Lead to own the US federal/GovCon technical face and guide a small, high-impact team delivering US product-facing work. You’ll translate government requirements into engineering reality and represent the technical side alongside sales.

Based in the DC/NOVA area (or NYC for exceptional candidates), you’ll balance hands-on coding with strategic delivery, ensuring FedRAMP/GovCon compliance and customer success across engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in federal or GovCon procurement, compliance, and delivery.
• Proven track record representing engineering in enterprise-level sales or customer conversations.
• Leadership experience in small technical teams or startups close to engineering work.
• Comfort with a TS stack and hands-on DevOps/platform contributions.
• Ability to translate technical needs into customer-facing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Represent Engineering in enterprise-level discussions with federal stakeholders.
• Rapid prototyping of high-impact features for direct sales or customer validation.
• Lead US product-facing technical delivery from scoping to delivery.
• Manage and develop a small DevSecOps Engineer and a Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Stay hands-on with platform, DevOps, and infrastructure tasks as needed.
• Bridge US and global engineering to reflect US requirements in product roadmap.
• Build trust with federal customers through iterative delivery and engagement.
• Support Federal deployment and on-call rotation with the team.
