Job summary

Three Saints Bay, LLC is seeking a GovCon Project Control Analyst to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. The role supports management and administration of multiple government contracts, monitoring project financials and assisting PMs.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in accounting or finance with at least two years of project control experience and proficiency in Deltek CostPoint and Excel. Knowledge of FAR/GAAP is preferred, with a focus on accurate reporting and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• Two years of project control experience.
• Deltek CostPoint experience required; GAAP/FAR knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain understanding of project structure, cost accruals, billings and financial reporting.
• Responsible for project setups and understanding government contract requirements.
• Ensure invoices billed per contract and reconcile billings for each CLIN.
• Prepare monthly project accruals coordinating with Accounting and PMs.
• Analyze actual costs and correct improper allocations as needed.
• Maintain project tracking spreadsheets for actuals and forecasts.
• Analyze unbilled balances and report as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financial information.
• Review, code and submit supplier invoices and voucher corrections to AP.
• Assist PMs in monthly revenue forecasts and CDRLs.
• Review contract funding levels for limitation of funds notices.
• Provide assistance on pricing opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Three Saints Bay, LLC, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a GovCon Project Control Analyst to join our Team in Manassas, Virginia.

Position Overview:

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Project Control Analyst will support the management and administration of multiple contracts supporting the government. This role will monitor project financials and provide support to various PMs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the project structure, cost accruals, billings and financial reporting.
• Responsible for project setups and able to understand requirements of a government contract.
• Ensure invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements and reconciles billings for each CLIN as required.
• Prepare monthly project accruals, acting as liaison between Accounting personnel and Project Managers to ensure all monthly expenses are accounted for.
• Analyze actual costs and understand if improper cost allocations have occurred on assigned projects; assist in correcting as needed
• Maintain project tracking spreadsheets to record actuals and forecast.
• Analyze, understand and report on assigned unbilled balances when needed
• Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all assigned projects related financial information.
• Review, code and submit supplier invoices and voucher corrections to Accounts Payable, as needed.
• Assist Project Managers in preparation of monthly revenue forecasts and CDRLs
• Review of contract funding levels for contract-required limitation of funds notifications.
• Provide assistance on pricing existing and new opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• BS/BA degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalentexperience required.
• Two years of project control experience
• Deltek CostPoint Project Control Experience is required.
• Experience with FAR and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
• Understanding of revenue recognition concepts preferred
• Must be detail oriented and able to work within specified deadlines.
• Strong personal computer skills, including detailed working knowledge of Excel capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requirements.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear ability to take ownership of issues and pursue potential resolutions through to completion.

This position is located in Manassas, VA.

Hiring Range for this position is $80,000- $100,000.
