Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations, reliability, and security across enterprise environments supporting government and private sector work.

The role oversees systems administration, cloud operations, endpoint management, and user support while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC. You will mentor staff, coordinate with security and leadership stakeholders, and drive incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading IT operations teams in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 and cloud administration (Azure/AWS GovCloud).
• Strong knowledge of endpoint management, IAM, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations across enterprise and regulated environments.
• Administer cloud infrastructure including Microsoft 365 GCC High and AWS GovCloud.
• Oversee endpoint management, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate incident response and drive root cause analysis.
• Ensure operations align with CMMC 2 and NIST 800-171 requirements, audit-ready.
• Partner with Security, GRC and leadership to document policies and SOPs.
• Manage user provisioning, access reviews, and offboarding.
• Oversee asset inventory, lifecycle, and licensing optimization.
• Mentor IT operations and help desk staff; manage vendor relationships.
