Job summary

Steerbridge is looking for a dedicated Security Engineer to enhance a mission-critical Defense Aviation platform within AWS GovCloud. The successful candidate will focus on securing cloud infrastructure, implementing security controls, and automating compliance across federal aviation systems.

This role requires hands-on experience in cloud security principles and practices, particularly around Zero Trust architectures and vulnerability remediation. The position also emphasizes collaboration with engineers to embed security within cloud environments, fostering a secure operational framework.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Security Engineering experience.
• Experience securing AWS cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of IAM, least-privilege access, and network security.

Responsibilities
