Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead the operations and technology functions supporting Medical Disability Claims (MDC). This senior leader will drive performance, delivery, and modernization, with direct VA project experience.

The role requires translating mission requirements into executable plans, leading cross-functional teams, and managing scope, schedule, and budgets to achieve measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex programs or operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, Engineering, Public Administration or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Direct experience with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on IT projects or related federal initiatives.
• Experience leading both operations and technology functions and connecting tech strategy to outcomes.
• Proven success managing large, multi-disciplinary teams and senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for MDC operations, technology, delivery, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams across operations, technology, program management, quality, reporting, and support functions.
• Own program execution including scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk management, and delivery.
• Serve as senior VA stakeholder liaison and build trusted relationships across government and contractors.
• Translate requirements into technology roadmaps and measurable outcomes with technical teams.
