Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician I to support the operations of AWS GovCloud region data centers. You will join a team of front-line responders maintaining critical infrastructure and ensuring uptime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage facilities maintenance tasks with moderate complexity.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events under SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning; manage facility readings.
• Provide KPIs to senior engineers.
• Oversee on-site contractors and ensure safety procedures.
• Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment for high uptime.
