Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician I (EOT) to support the operations of world-class data centers. You will work with frontline teams to test and implement new technology and work practices to meet market demands, ensuring safety and reliability across critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include facility maintenance, on-site contractor oversight, and contributing to KPI reporting while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.
• Oversee on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment maintenance and operations.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and tickets, root cause analyses, change management are handled.
• Walk job sites, lift up to 39 pounds, and work in uneven terrain as needed by site.
• Maintain 99.999% uptime of data center infrastructure.
