Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead a growing team responsible for installing and delivering network equipment and related infrastructure in AWS data centers.

This role emphasizes building sustainable processes, driving automation, and delivering capacity with zero rework. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, provide strategic direction, and coordinate with software, hardware, security, and operations teams to maintain safety, reduce delivery cycle

Qualifications

• 2+ years of TCP/IP networking, network cabling, fiber, optic types, and test equipment experience.
• 2+ years of in a management or team lead function experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, cabling, or related operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment.
• Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center.
• Guide, train and educate staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
• Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including off-hours and on-call needs.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Host weekly staff meetings.
• Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements.
