Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Virginia is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead a growing team responsible for delivering data center capacity and network infrastructure with safety and operational excellence.

You will drive standardization, automation opportunities, and mentoring, guiding inbound capacity, cabling, and project delivery across Northern Virginia data centers; occasional on-site meetings at AWS locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years in data center engineering or operations.
• 2+ years of team management experience.
• 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages.
• Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including off-hours on-call.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels.
• Provide weekly reports to the data center manager.
