Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent for the GovCloud project.

The role directs on-site workflow, ensures safety and quality, leads the site team, and liaisons between project members to advance business and client interests. Qualifications include a four-year degree preferred (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in commercial construction, and familiarity with ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred; in lieu of degree, additional work experience accepted.
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a general contractor.
• Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces; weekend work; fast-paced projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and administer the HITT safety program, ensuring incidents are reported and investigated.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
• Lead on-site safety and manage a safe jobsite for all involved.
• Maintain daily log of activities and site conditions; manage punch list and closeout.
• Collaborate with project manager on schedule formation and sequencing; ensure quality standards.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors and community to support opportunities.
• Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders; identify issues early and provide solutions.
• Organize site team; arrange facilities/utilities; identify long-lead items for expediting.
• Collaborate with project manager and site operations throughout the project life.
