Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager for GovCloud/Mission Critical programs. The role covers from discovery to implementation, leading project teams and maintaining safety standards across small and large projects.

You will negotiate contracts, monitor schedules, and ensure quality control while building strong client and subcontractor relationships to secure new work and ensure steady closeout success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• Has successfully acquired and/or contacted at least one new client.
• Ability to execute multiple project management efforts.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adherence to safety standards.
• Ensures all job processes follow company policies.
• Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
• Monitors project progress with updated schedules.
• Ensures Quality Control Plan is followed.
• Assists project staff in resolving scope issues with subcontractors.
• Allocates and evaluates field personnel within project teams and across the company.
• Identifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowed.
• Acquires new work and maintains existing clients.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors.
• Ensures timely completion of closeout processes.
• Leads preconstruction and RFP package efforts with Preconstruction Department.
• Delegates responsibilities to keep projects on track.
