Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Buyer (P-Card Holder) to plan, source, purchase, and expedite COTS materials for O&M projects. This role links Operations, Accounting, and Subcontracts to ensure policy compliance and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate will manage rapid-response procurement via the P-Card, maintain on-hand inventory, and collaborate with project teams to support maintenance, repairs, and construction activities, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, O&M Construction or related field preferred.
• Associates degree with relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS procurement principles is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years purchasing or procurement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review COTS requests for completeness, accuracy, funding, and approvals.
• Procure qualifying items; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms with suppliers.
• Maintain documentation for each transaction and reconcile P-Card statements.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Support project managers and accounting with procurement activities.
