Iridium seeks a Senior Manager, Government Solutions & Customer Engagement to lead a team of Field Solutions Engineers supporting EMSS and broader USG customers. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, guide technical and customer engagements, and drive service delivery improvements.

You will interact with senior government stakeholders, lead technical briefings, and coordinate across functions to ensure successful execution and adoption of Iridium capabilities for government missions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as engineering, telecommunications, or related area.
• 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field engineering, systems engineering, SATCOM/telecommunications, government customer engagement, or related field.
• Previous management experience required to lead teams.
• Experience working directly with U.S. Government and/or DoD customers in technical or mission-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of satellite communications or complex technical systems and translating capabilities into mission-focused solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze complex customer requirements and develop effective technical and operational solutions.
• Experience leading engagements involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and ability to build relationships with senior leadership across departments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey products, deliverables, and issues clearly.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for Field Solutions Engineers servicing USG customers and EMSS programs.
• Mentor and coach team members; evaluate performance and provide actionable solutions.
• Translate USG strategy into executable operating plans and team objectives.
• Manage day-to-day FSE operations, allocate resources, and resolve complex issues.
• Engage with warfighters and government stakeholders to understand mission needs and requirements.
• Develop technical solutions translating customer needs into capabilities and service improvements.
• Lead briefings, demonstrations, and solution-design sessions with government and industry partners.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Contracts, and Support to fulfill customer needs.
