Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Network Support Technician to back an ICE OCIO program in Washington, DC. The role provides onsite Tier II IT support for 24x7 LANs and related services, requiring adherence to established guidelines and independent work with some supervision.

Responsibilities include LAN admin tasks, device support, server configurations, and health monitoring. Candidates must be able to travel locally and pass the required DHS Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years IT-related support experience, preferably in helpdesk or customer support
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and servers
• Support networked devices such as computers, printers, biometric devices and sensors
• Assist in testing and applying server configurations and security patches
• Maintain health of systems and backups and perform restore testing
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and document updates per guidelines
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly activity reports
• Support video teleconferencing infrastructure and deployment requests
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and special projects
