Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Government Contractor Security Officer to support the National Security Team. This role requires full-time presence at a government client site and no relocation.

You will develop and administer security policies, coordinate with agencies, and ensure compliance with ICD-705 and SEADs for TS/SCI access. Experience with classified systems and visitor controls is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations related to IC security.

AT&T has an opening for a Government Contractor Security Officer to support the National Security Sector. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Chantilly, VA.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and administers corporate and government security policies, procedures, and programs across the contract.
• Maintains liaison with outside agencies and keeps upper management and the government informed of all security activities.
• Establishes procedures for visitor control, employee identification, and the safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.
• Applies knowledge and a thorough understanding of ICD-705 to implement and manage physical security controls.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of all public laws, executive orders, directives, regulations, and policies associated with Intelligence Community (IC) security requirements. This includes working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) used by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to disseminate national security policy and requirements for gaining and maintaining access to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) materials and spaces.
• Develops, implements, and administers corporate and government security policies, procedures, and programs across the contract.
• Maintains liaison with outside agencies and keeps upper management and the government informed of all security activities.
• Applies knowledge of classified system support and supports all aspects of DCSA- and IC-accredited classified systems.
• Leads technical and physical security requirements at the site and maintains locks, alarms, badges, phones, and the access control system. Applies knowledge and a thorough understanding of ICD-705 to implement and manage physical security controls.
• Manages visitor control, employee identification, and the safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.
• Develops and executes physical and procedural security plans and programs.
• Provides personnel security support to the NCPSO and CPSO, including personnel clearance processing, onboarding, offboarding, classification management reviews, and inspection preparation.
• Partners with program management and on-site security colleagues to identify and resolve potential risks to sensitive program and customer operations, while maintaining and expanding relationships with customer security authorities to facilitate resolution of security issues important to AT&T's business.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must have a HS degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience . Required qualifications include:

• Possess a general understanding of all Public Laws, Executive Orders, directives, regulations, and policies associated with Intelligence Community (IC) Security requirements. This includes a working knowledge of both ICDs, as well as the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) used by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) as a means of disseminating national security policy and requirements relative to gaining and maintaining access to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) materials and spaces.
• Candidate must have and maintain eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and a polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:

• Facility Security Officer (FSO) or other security professional training through the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) or comparable U.S. Government (USG) personnel/physical security training.
• CISSP certification and ability to work with Government sponsors on system requirements.
• Experience working in a team environment within a professional office setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
