Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a Gourmet to Go Associate for our Prepared Foods department. You will handle packaging, pricing, weighing and merchandising of gourmet to go items, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work both independently and with a team, prioritizing products based on sales volume and helping other counter associates as needed to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

Experience delivering friendly, efficient service in a food retail setting.
Ability to handle and package prepared foods to meet quality standards.
Strong attention to detail in labeling, pricing and weights.

Responsibilities

Ensure excellent customer service.
Package, weigh, price, and present gourmet to go products.
Merchandise pre-packaged items and maintain floor display rotation.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Prioritize products for pre-packaging based on sales volume.
Ensure accurate product name, price, and weight on packages.
Assist counter associates when customers need help.

Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Gourmet to Go (Prepared Foods) Associate for our Bloomfield Hills location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure excellent customer service
Ensure only quality products are being packaged
Package, weigh, price, etc. gourmet to go products
Merchandise the gourmet to go pre-packaged items on the sales floor ensuring proper rotation
Work independently as well as a team
Determine priority of products that need to be pre-packaged according to sales volume
Ensure proper tars, product name, price and weights on every package produced
Assist the gourmet to go counter associates when customers are waiting for assistance
Assist party planning manager as needed
Document shrink to assist in determining how much of a product needs to be produced
Ensure demoed products from the gourmet to go department are kept full
Assist in expediting party tray orders to customers
Others duties as assigned
