Lush Popcorn in Milwaukee is seeking a dependable Gourmet Popcorn Associate II who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You will combine customer service with hands-on production support, inventory handling, and team leadership to keep daily operations smooth and engaging for customers.

You’ll greet shoppers, process orders and payments, operate the POS and popcorn equipment, balance the register, and ensure products are well displayed and ready for sale or shipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food/service environment preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and follow procedures accurately.
• Balance a cash register and provide correct change.
• Comfort with POS systems, scales, and store devices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to stand, walk long periods and lift items as needed.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Gourmet Popcorn Associate II who can help keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting both customers and the team.

This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, order fulfillment, food production support, inventory management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, and provide exceptional customer service
• Accurately process customer orders and payments
• Operate the POS system, cash register, scales, popcorn equipment, and other store devices
• Balance the cash register and help ensure sales reconcile accurately
• Process refunds, exchanges, coupons, and gift cards according to store procedures
• Bag, label, package, and display finished products for sale or shipment
• Process online and wholesale orders efficiently and accurately
• Help ensure the store is clean, sanitized, organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready
• Follow food safety, sanitation, quality control, and store procedures
• Maintain records related to customers, deliveries, inventory, and product production
• Manage and track product inventoryMonitor production needs and help keep daily workflow on track
• Serve as a team lead and assist with team questions or escalations as needed
• Work independently and collaboratively to solve problems, fulfill orders, and create amazing popcorn

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow recipes and procedures
• Previous customer service, cashier, retail, or food service experience preferred
• Basic math skills and ability to make correct change and balance a register
• Comfort using POS systems, cash registers, computers, and other equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Dependable, responsible, and able to take initiative
• Fast learner with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavier items as required
