Job summary

Popcorn Country in Tucson is seeking a reliable, long-term team member to help produce, cook, package, and fulfill orders in a fast-paced popcorn shop. The role involves hands-on work beyond simple counter service, including production, packaging, and order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can multitask, is dependable, friendly, and customer-focused, with experience in food/kitchen settings and familiarity with POS systems and online order platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced go-go-go environment, producing, cooking, packaging and fulfilling tasks.
• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone, tailoring orders to needs.
• Fulfill online, phone, email, and wholesale orders and track deadlines.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and follow food-safety guidelines during peak rushes.
• Operate an industrial popper, sift, bag, and seal packaging; label products.
• Pick up, move, and lift up to 75 lbs and stand for the shift.

• Someone who wants to be a part of the team long-term, this is not a summer/ seasonal/after class position


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get things done under a time constraint


• Experience working in food/kitchen settings


• A self-starter who takes initiative and can work efficiently and productively and multi-task


• Dependable, motivated, and ready to learn

• Knowledge of POS Systems, 3rd party sales channels, and website/social media order platforms


• Available to work Saturdays

What You’ll Do:

• Work at a fast-pace, in a go-go-go environment (this is not a standing behind the counter all day position, we are producing, cooking, and packaging and everything has to be done quickly!)


• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone - and be able to help tailor orders to their needs with a friendly attitude


• Fulfill online, phone, email orders, and wholesale orders and keep track of order deadlines to ensure timely fulfillment


• Maintain shop cleanliness in front and back of house, and follow food safety guidelines- even during peak rushes


• Operate an industrial popper, sift, bag, and seal packaging


• Mass label and sticker product and bags


• Pick up, move, and lift up to 75 lbs and stand your entire shift
