Job Summary
The Pub Manager is responsible for the daily operations of Goosefeathers Pub, including staffing, training, scheduling, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, with a strong emphasis on food safety, alcohol compliance, and team development.

Job Responsibilities
Staffing & Training
- Hire, train, and schedule staff.
- Ensure completion of required tasks and training.
- Conduct cashier, server, and bartender training.
- Communicate Incident/Guest (IG) concerns appropriately.
Front of House Operations
- Maintain proper staffing levels.
- Ensure alcohol guidelines and team training are followed.
- Oversee sorting and dining room management.
- Enforce food safety best practices.
- Ensure cocktail recipes are followed.
Back of House Operations
- Maintain proper staffing levels.
- Ensure safe food handling and ServSafe certification.
- Adhere to menu recipes and food safety standards.
- Manage or delegate ordering and follow-up.
- Alcohol Management.
- Ensure liquor license compliance and staff training.
- Update and manage alcohol menus and recipes.
- Enforce responsible service practices.
- Communication & Coordination.
- Provide daily/weekly plans and expectations to staff.
- Maintain clear communication with other resort F&B leaders.
- Conduct daily team huddles and weekly staff meetings.
Talent Development
- Support growth of Supervisors, Kitchen staff, FOH team, and Assistant Managers.
- Foster staff engagement and recognition.
- Reporting & Meetings.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Attend enterprise-wide meetings as assigned.
- Communicate regularly with the team regarding operational concerns and successes.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training.
- Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
