Responsibilities

  • Staffing & Training: hire, train, schedule staff; conduct cashier, server, and bartender training; ensure completion of required tasks and training; communicate incident/guest concerns appropriately.
  • Front of House Operations: maintain proper staffing levels; enforce alcohol guidelines and team training; oversee dining room management; ensure food safety best practices; follow cocktail recipes.
  • Back of House Operations: maintain proper staffing; ensure safe food handling and ServSafe certification; adhere to menu recipes and food safety standards; manage ordering and follow-up; ensure liquor license compliance; update and manage alcohol menus; enforce responsible service practices; provide daily/weekly plans and staff communication; conduct daily team huddles and weekly staff meetings.
  • Talent Development: support growth of supervisors, kitchen staff, FOH team, and assistant managers; foster staff engagement and recognition; complete daily, weekly, monthly operational reports; attend enterprise-wide meetings; communicate operational concerns and successes.

Job Summary

The Pub Manager is responsible for daily operations of the Goosefeathers Pub, overseeing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) functions, focusing on food safety, alcohol compliance, and team development.

Other Program Criteria
  • Commitment to 3 weeks of work.
  • Must be an active Seasonal Employee; not available to Year-Round Employees.
  • $800 stipend and free employee housing.
  • 32 hours per week – no PTO days.
