Job summary

University of Central Florida is seeking a Google Workspace Engineer II to administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, manage users and licenses, and maintain secure, compliant productivity platforms on-site in Orlando. You will implement changes, respond to alerts, and document procedures while collaborating with the Senior Productivity Platforms Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
• Experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of identity and access management concepts (SSO, MFA, RBAC).
• Experience using ServiceNow for requests, incidents, and changes.
• Automation scripting with PowerShell, Google Apps Script, or Power Automate.
• Certifications such as Google Workspace Admin or Microsoft 365 Admin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Groups).
• Manage users, groups, licenses, sharing settings, and monitor health.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Perform routine platform maintenance, license lifecycle tasks, security settings.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and keep platforms current with vendor changes.
• Resolve intermediate support issues and document troubleshooting in ServiceNow.
• Implement approved changes with pilot testing and migration tasks.
• Maintain runbooks and reports on service health and usage.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
