Job summary

The Google Workspace Engineer II at University of Central Florida in Orlando will perform daily administration, operation, and maintenance of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, under the direction of the Senior Productivity Platforms Engineer. You will implement approved changes and maintain documentation that keeps both platforms reliable and secure.

You will manage users, groups, licenses, sharing settings, and service configurations, monitor health, and apply security and data protection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with user/group management, licensing, email, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Administers day-to-day Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Groups).
• Manages users, groups, license assignments, sharing settings, and configurations.
• Handles Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Performs platform maintenance, security configurations, and data protection settings.
• Responds to alerts and maintains documentation and runbooks.
• Develops automation scripts and workflow improvements to optimize operations.
