Job summary

Deloitte’s Cyber team seeks a Senior Google Cloud Security Manager to lead end-to-end Google Cloud Platform security engagements, guiding on-site and offshore teams across architecture, AI/ML security, container security, and data protection.

Preferred candidates will have 10+ years in cybersecurity, 3+ years in Google Cloud security, and strong leadership abilities. This role requires up to 50% travel and supports flexible delivery models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity or cloud security with consulting and leadership.
• 3+ years designing or implementing security in Google Cloud.
• 2+ years leading client delivery and teams.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD security, Google Cloud security services, and securing AI/ML workloads in Google Cloud.
• Ability to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Google Cloud security engagements across architecture, AI/ML, container security, and data protection.
• Architect secure-by-default solutions within Google Cloud Platform services.
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards and secure CI/CD pipelines with guardrails.
• Serve as primary client contact, guiding engineering, risk, and operations stakeholders.
• Manage engagement economics, staffing, quality, and risk while mentoring staff.
• Support business development through scope, proposals, and capability building.
