Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Defense & Resilience team is seeking a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to design and deploy scalable Google SecOps architectures and SOAR playbooks. You will collaborate with security analysts to tune threat detection, build case management in SecOps, and mentor junior staff while delivering secure, compliant operations for enterprise environments.

The role requires 7+ years in security operations, strong Google Cloud SecOps expertise, and hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise information technology security
• Experience with Google Cloud's SecOps tool stack and architecture (SIEM/SOAR)
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks
• Experience with Python for automation and integration development
• Experience with log normalization and parsing tools (e.g., Logstash) and ETL pipelines (Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka)
• Ability to travel 50% on average
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments
• Leading deployment of log ingestion pipelines using data fabric technologies
• Collaborating with SOC analysts to tune threat detection content for Google SecOps
• Translating security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and integrations
• Building case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR and mentoring junior staff
• Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
