Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Google Cloud Architect to support our L100 AI Landing Zones capability for federal and DoD programs.

You will lead secure cloud landing zones, hybrid/disconnected architectures, container platforms, and automation for DoD customers. The role requires 7+ years in cloud/solutions architecture and 3+ years hands-on Google Cloud experience in regulated environments; strong knowledge of GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps, and hybrid networking.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud, systems, infrastructure, network, or solutions-architecture experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud experience in production or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure Google Cloud landing zones and resource hierarchies.
• Architect solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and related services.
• Design hybrid connectivity, IAM architectures, Terraform modules, CI/CD/GitOps, and observability.
• Support Google Distributed Cloud and air-gapped environments.
• Conduct architecture workshops, design reviews, and customer briefings.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to proposals and technical volumes.
• Support RMF activities end-to-end.
