Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Google Cloud Architect to support our L100 AI Landing Zones capability for federal and DoD customers.

You will lead the design and delivery of secure cloud landing zones, container platforms, and infrastructure automation across hybrid environments. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in cloud architecture and hands-on Google Cloud experience in regulated settings, with strong skills in GCP services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Git-based CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud, systems, infrastructure, network, or solutions-architecture experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud experience in production or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes, Git-based CI/CD, and hybrid networking.
• Experience producing architecture diagrams and explaining decisions to engineering and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure Google Cloud landing zones and resource hierarchies.
• Architect solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and related services.
• Design hybrid connectivity, IAM architectures, Terraform modules, CI/CD/GitOps, and observability.
• Support Google Distributed Cloud and air-gapped environments.
• Conduct architecture workshops, design reviews, and customer briefings.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to proposals and technical volumes.
• Support RMF activities end-to-end.
