Job summary

Allendale Public Schools is seeking a Good Time Friends Aide (part-time) to supervise activities for students ages 5 through rising 6th grade. The role supports a safe, nurturing environment and requires the ability to work with small and large groups after school.

Starting wage is $16.30 per hour at the Parapro II level. Hours are Tue, Wed, and Thu 3:15–5:00 PM, with occasional 6-hour shifts on non-school days.

Hours Needed:Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday PM only

From 3:15 - 5:00 PM

• Flexible to be available to cover 6 hour shifts on 1/2 and no school days.

Qualifications:

Must have a passion for working with children, ages 5 yrs to rising 6 th graders

Ability to provide a nurturing, safe, and caring environment

First Aid and CPR training preferred

Self-directed, able to multitask and work with parents

Requirements:

• Complete 7 hours of Health & Safety modules prior to the start date


• Complete at least 16 hours (minimum) of Professional Development (PD) training


• Federal Fingerprinting ($65 - pd by prospective employee)


• CPR/1st Aid Training
