Good Evans is seeking a daytime dishwasher to join our friendly restaurant team in Lincoln, NE. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting food service operations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and follow health and safety standards. Training provided; must be 18+ and able to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Kitchen staff to maintain a continuous flow of clean dishes.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the Kitchen as assigned by the supervisor.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and report equipment issues to the supervisor.

Job Summary: Our restaurant is looking for a reliable and hard-working Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils for food service and dining
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware, ensuring they are stored appropriately
• Work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff to ensure continuous flow of clean dishes
• Ensure the kitchen and dish washing area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the Kitchen as assigned by the supervisor
• Dispose of all garbage and trash from the kitchen and properly dispose of food waste
• Report any equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must have the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot/cold environments
• Must adhere to all health and safety standards and guidelines as instructed by the supervisor
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Previous experience as a Dishwasher is preferred but not required. We will provide training to the right candidate
