Job summary

Good Evans Breakfast & Lunch in Lincoln is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our daytime team. You will ensure clean and sanitized dishes and assist with general kitchen cleanliness, supporting health and safety standards throughout the shift.

The role involves standing for extended periods and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Training is provided for those new to the role, with competitive pay and great daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods in hot/cold areas.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Previous dishwasher experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glasses, and utensils.
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware; store properly.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of clean dishes.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Dispose of garbage and waste appropriately in the kitchen.
• Report equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Job Summary:
Our restaurant is looking for a reliable and hard-working Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• - Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils for food service and dining
• - Sort and stack dishes and glassware, ensuring they are stored appropriately
• - Work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff to ensure continuous flow of clean dishes
• - Ensure the kitchen and dish washing area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• - Assist with general cleaning duties in the Kitchen as assigned by the supervisor
• - Dispose of all garbage and trash from the kitchen and properly dispose of food waste
• - Report any equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor
