Pepperjax is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher will ensure clean dishes, utensils and equipment and assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and health standards.

We offer training for the right candidate in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour and reflects experience and responsibilities at Pepperjax.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Able to stand for long periods and in hot/cold environments.
• Must follow health and safety standards and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glassware, and utensils for service.
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware and store properly.
• Work with Kitchen staff to ensure a steady flow of clean dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with general Kitchen cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Dispose of garbage and food waste properly from the kitchen.
• Report any equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils for food service and dining
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware, ensuring they are stored appropriately
• Work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff to ensure continuous flow of clean dishes
• Ensure the kitchen and dish washing area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the Kitchen as assigned by the supervisor
• Dispose of all garbage and trash from the kitchen and properly dispose of food waste
• Report any equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must have the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot/cold environments
• Must adhere to all health and safety standards and guidelines as instructed by the supervisor
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Previous experience as a Dishwasher is preferred but not required. We will provide training to the right candidate
