Job summary

Good Evans Breakfast & Lunch in Elkhorn is seeking a reliable daytime dishwasher to join our team. You will ensure dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized, supporting a fast-paced kitchen and upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, sorting and stacking wares, assisting the kitchen staff, keeping the dish area clean and organized, and reporting any maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot/cold environments.
• Adhere to health and safety standards/guidelines as instructed by supervisor.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Previous dishwasher experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure clean and sanitized dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils for food service and dining.
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware, ensuring they are stored appropriately.
• Work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff to ensure continuous flow of clean dishes.
• Ensure the kitchen and dish washing area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the Kitchen as assigned by the supervisor.
• Dispose of all garbage and trash from the kitchen and properly dispose of food waste.
• Report any equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.
