Job summary

The USGA, in partnership with Miami Valley Golf, invites applicants to join the Golf Administration Internship in Dayton, Ohio. This paid position offers hands-on experience in tournament operations, data entry, course rating support, media tasks, and member services across MVG and OHSAA events.

Full‑time is preferred, with part‑time options around class schedules. Interns arrange housing in the Dayton area and receive reimbursement for travel on Association business.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and administration of tournaments and reports.
• Prepare site for events (course marking, tents, scoreboards).
• Assist with real-time scoring data entry (Golf Genius/iWanamaker).
• Assist with course rating teams and member clubs.
• Support media relations and handicap/membership activities.
