Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Golf to help athletes find the right equipment and deliver personalized service that drives sales. You will rely on strong product knowledge to guide customers and create an elevated athlete experience.

In this role, you will engage with customers on the floor, support onboarding of team members, and uphold merchandising standards while supporting store programs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of the store area.
• Maintains merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Drives sales through product recommendations and strong service execution.
• Promotes participation in company programs (loyalty, warranties, credit enrollment) and supports safety and loss-prevention procedures.
