Job summary

This position is located in the Golf Branch, Recreation Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department within Navy Region Southwest (NRSW). The incumbent assists with the business and administrative management of the golf shop operation.

The duties are normally carried out with minimal supervision and during the absence of the golf course manager and assistant manager, typically afternoons, evenings or on weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in golf club operations or equivalent leadership experience.
• Familiarity with proper cash handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to provide work direction to other employees.
