Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking staff for the Masters Tournament to greet guests, assist with product selection, and provide sales support. The role requires friendly interaction with members, players, caddies, and patrons, with a focus on delivering an exceptional Masters experience in all weather conditions.

Pay is $10.00 per hour. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with both foreign and domestic patrons.
• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Offers sales assistance to patrons by communicating specific benefits and features of products.
• Assists patrons with size selection, providing options for consideration.
• Asks questions in order to improve the Masters experience, expressing sincere concern for the needs and interests of the patron.
• Answers patron questions with appropriate answers.
• Learns all product locations within the Golf Shop in order to direct patrons accordingly.
