Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking staff for the Masters Tournament. You will greet patrons, assist with sales, and guide guests to product locations with a friendly, professional approach.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or other adverse environments. Shifts include holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with both foreign and domestic patrons.
• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Offers sales assistance to patrons by communicating specific benefits and features of products.
• Assists patrons with size selection, providing options for consideration.
• Asks questions to improve the Masters experience, expressing sincere concern for the needs and interests of the patron.
• Answers patron questions with appropriate answers.
• Learns all product locations within the Golf Shop in order to direct patrons accordingly.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
