Job summary

World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL, part of Troon, seeks a Full-Time Retail Merchandiser to open, operate, and close the golf shop while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will rotate stock, set up displays, assist with promotions, train staff, and manage inventory with Troon procedures. A high school diploma and a willingness to learn are required; a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience or training.
• Strong guest service skills and ability to work flexible hours.
• Knowledge of merchandising practices and inventory procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Open, operate, and close the golf shop following procedures.
• Answer phones and assist guests with golf shop purchases and questions.
• Operate the POS system and process merchandise sales.
• Create a welcoming, organized golf shop experience with guest service.
• Support loss prevention by monitoring guest activity in the shop.
• Rotate stock and keep displays clean and visually appealing.
• Assist with training golf shop staff on products, policies, and service standards.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; tag and prepare merchandise.
• Share product levels and buying trends with retail leadership.
