Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a friendly golf shop associate to handle tee-time check-ins, merchandise display, and customer service at the shop. You will ring up sales, maintain logs, and assist golf professionals with stock and events.

This on-site role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and provide excellent public relations with members and guests, along with basic computer skills for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and public relations required.
• Must be able to meet public in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Golf knowledge preferred.
• Ability to stand throughout duration of shift.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Takes tee times as needed under club rules.
• Maintains up-to-date information for golfers at check-in.
• Assists with displaying golf shop merchandise.
• Answers golf shop telephones.
• Maintains play logs.
• Assists with stock levels for golf professionals.
• Checks golfers in and collects fees.
• Uses the cash register.
• Assists customers in merchandise selection.
• Wraps gifts.
• Keeps up with special events (tournaments).
• Assists with weekly/monthly display changes.
• Cleans and straightens golf shop.
• Assists Golf Professionals in daily duties.
• Prepares and maintains coffee station daily.
• Maintains radio contact with the shop.
