Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company, Inc. is seeking a Director of Golf to oversee the entire golf operation and lead shop activities.

You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional member and guest experiences and to manage daily operations, events, and service initiatives. The role requires extensive knowledge of golf rules, strong communication skills, and leadership in a team environment, with PGA status being desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in golf software and MS Office.
• PGA Membership or progress toward certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador of hospitality to members, guests, and staff.
• Greet members and guests and anticipate their daily needs for an exceptional experience.
• Maintain knowledge of golf operation, rules, policies and procedures.
• Carry out opening/closing procedures including reconciliation and security.
• Collect fees and process payments per club procedures.
• Assist in organizing and running tournaments and events.
• Organize and control play to ensure top service and enjoyment.
• Maintain familiarity with merchandise in the Golf Shop to support sales.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Reconcile daily transactions in Golf 365 with tee sheet activity.
• Assist with basic club repair services as needed.
• Private and group golf instruction opportunities available.
