Seabreeze Management Company Inc. is seeking a Golf Shop Assistant to support the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in daily golf shop operations and customer service initiatives.

You will greet members and guests, handle sales, bookings, and shop maintenance, and work closely with the management team to deliver exceptional golf experiences. Responsibilities include cashiering, reservations, and merchandise displays, with an emphasis on friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Previous golf/retail-related experience or relevant education in golf/retail management is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Phone, computer and one-on-one skills are a must.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor and provide information on golf products, services, and course details.
• Process transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and manage inventory levels including restocking and merchandising.
• Assist with booking tee times, manage golf cart rentals, and schedule lessons or events as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment with attractive and well-stocked merchandise displays.
• Communicate effectively with golfers and staff and resolve inquiries and issues as they arise.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and daily opening/closing procedures.
