POSITION SUMMARY:

To ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner, handle all payment transactions, maximize guest satisfaction, and perform general duties as assigned by the Golf Professional.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Handle all sales transactions made through the Golf Shop
2. Maintain accurate records for the Golf Shop with special emphasis on retail/golf transactions
3. Report stock levels of guest, retail, and office supplies to manager
4. Maintain a high level of cleanliness for all areas within the Department
5. Adhere to all rules and regulations established in standard operation procedure manual for BCG/BCL/Bass Pro Shops
6. Report all incidents of guest dissatisfaction to the manager
7. Report all accidents/injuries that occur during the execution of Golf Shop business or on Big Cedar Lodge property through proper channels
8. Assist guests with the highest level of professionalism
9. Maintain accurate records with emphasis on inventory control and sales records
10. Have computer and inventory brand knowledge
11. Have overall knowledge of the game of golf and related merchandise sales (clubs, balls, bags, gloves, etc.)
12. Perform other duties as required

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 3 months’ retail experience and basic understanding of golf operations preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities
