Job Description

Provides various customer service functions, including product referrals and meeting banking standards. Processes financial transactions accurately, maintains cash security, balances daily transactions, and verifies cash totals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Represent the bank courteously and professionally, applying the 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service, and meet or exceed secret shop scores.
2. Refer customers to appropriate bank services and products, meet referral expectations, and use CRM programs accurately.
3. Balance daily transactions, verify cash totals, and document cash discrepancies.
4. Process transactions efficiently and accurately, minimizing errors.
5. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to security policies, including BSA and Security training.
6. Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
7. Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance; communicate clearly via various channels.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-6 months of related experience or training
• Preferred: prior banking or cash handling experience
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
