Job summary

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a friendly Golf Shop Attendant to welcome members and guests, manage tee times, and handle point-of-sale transactions. You will help maintain a polished shop and assist with merchandise and inquiries to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and a customer-focused attitude. Evening/weekend availability is required for peak periods and events.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with tee times, check-in, golf shop services, merchandise, and questions.
• Maintain clean, organized golf shop and displays.
• Operate POS for green fees, merchandise, gift certificates, and billing.
• Receive and process payments accurately.
• Monitor tee sheets and resolve discrepancies, including overpayments and underpayments.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate special merchandise orders with Golf Merchandise Buyer.
• Follow club policies and safety standards; attend required meetings.
