Job summary

The Links at Perry Cabin, part of Troon, in Saint Michaels, MD, is seeking a seasonal, part-time Golf Shop Attendant to provide exceptional service to our guests and support our golf professional staff. This role involves assisting with golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and various golf-related activities.

The position runs from now through November 2026. If you’re friendly, customer-focused, and passionate about golf, we’d love to hear from you!

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Friendly and positive personality is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills with POS knowledge are required.
• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge about the game of golf is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as directed.
• Collect green and cart fees from guests and process in POS system.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing/unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable at day’s end.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

We’re currently hiring a seasonal, part-time Golf Shop Attendantto provide exceptional service to our guests and support our golf professional staff. This role involves assisting with golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and various golf-related activities. This is a seasonal role, beginning now to the end of November 2026.

Compensation:

$15-$18 per hour

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Must have a friendly and positive personality
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have basic computer skills, POS knowledge.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred

Position Responsibilities:

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained
• Issues receipts for guest purchases
• Takes messages for staff or guests
• Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
