Pebble Beach Company is seeking a Golf Shop Assistant to deliver exceptional guest service across golf operations. You will support the management team with front-desk and starter duties, billing, and retail tasks at Pebble Beach properties.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of golf, rules, facility operations, and tournament operations.
• POS systems and cash handling experience.
• Team player, friendly and hardworking.
• Able to work independently.
• Service and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
• Represent Pebble Beach Company professionally in the local community.
• Valid California driver’s license with less than 2 points.

Responsibilities

• Directly involved with daily golf operations focusing on guest check-in, starter and tee captain duties.
• Assist with outside customer service tasks.
• Open and close procedures.
• Collection of all golf fees.
• Support pace of play objectives at Del Monte Golf Course.
• Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments.
• Remain current with teaching trends and golf technology.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Assist in sales and inventory control of retail items.
• Follow Pebble Beach Company safety policies.
