Job summary

Naperville Park District is seeking a Golf Shop Assistant Manager to support the professional staff with daily transactions, customer service and supervisory duties at the clubhouse. You will help reserve tee times, handle cash, assist with merchandise, and ensure a welcoming, orderly facility for players and guests.

A high school diploma is required; CPR/AED certification is expected, with BASSETT certification within three months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, BASSETT certification within three months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relations with customers and organizations.
• Maintain proper phone protocol and collect appropriate fees.
• Reserve tee times and manage facility openings/closings.
• Assist in presentation and sale of merchandise.
• Inform customers about daily information.
• Prepare daily closing paperwork.
• Assist in general maintenance of clubhouse.
• Assist other staff with special duties assigned by professional staff.
• Demonstrate and support park district customer service standards.
